Highly Skilled Migrant: Revised Expatcenter Procedure
The Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) has a new order to handle combined entry clearance visa (MVV-visa) and residence permit applications for highly skilled migrants filed through the Expatcenter Procedure. The IND will, in this revised Expatcenter Procedure, first decide upon the MVV visa application before the application is sent to the Expatcenter. After the MVV-visa decision is made the Expatcenter will schedule an appointment for the highly skilled migrant. This change in procedure will give employers a better estimation of the arrival date for their employees once the Expatcenter appointment is scheduled.
