EU Blue Card: Mandatory monthly salary payment
EU Blue Card holders must receive their salary in the month that they are working, into a bank account into their name. This is mandatory as of 1 September 2020. Non compliance will result in cancellation of the EU Blue Card and a financial penalty for the employer of € 8,000. Read here the new regulation (Dutch).
With this amendment to the the EU Blue Card Scheme, the conditions are brought in line with the Dutch Highly Skilled Migrant Program.
