The government filing fees for the EU Blue Card is lowered as of 3 May 2018. Also other work related residence permits, like the highly skilled migrant permit and the intra corporate transferee permit will be reduced. The reduction of these fees is followed upon proceedings started by the European Commission against the Netherlands. The European Commission was of the opinion that the Netherlands charged excessive fees for work and residence permits. In reaction to this proceedings the Netherlands lowered the fees.
The fee for the EU Blue Card was EUR 909 and will become EUR 606. The fee for a highly migrant permit and the intra corporate transferee was EUR 938, and will be EUR 582.
