Croatia: no freedom of movement of workers
1 July 2013 Croatia will become a Member State of the EU. The freedom of movement of workers within the EU for Croatian nationals will not yet be applicable in the Netherlands. The Dutch government decided that for the coming 2 years there will be restrictions to this freedom of movement. The Dutch government motivated this measure by pointing to the worsening Dutch labour market.
